How Believing In God Can Empower Our Lives
Do you ever feel like your life is just one long struggle? From the moment you wake up, to the moment you fall asleep, there’s always something holding you back. No matter how hard you try and no matter how much faith you have in yourself, it feels like no matter what, things will never get better. Ever since we were kids, this has been our lives as Christians. Taking inspiration from the Scriptures and believing that good would come of it all was what made us surrender our lives over to Jesus Christ. But believing that God is a good God who has a purpose for our lives is not enough. Without being empowered by His Holy Spirit, our belief system will never be anything more than a set of thoughts and ideas we cling to desperately without any real power or effect on us. Unfortunately, this is often how believers feel their entire lives. Believing in God may give them hope and peace in the darkest of times but it’s powerless when it comes to changing their circumstances or raising them up out of poverty and hopelessness. The same can be said for believers who live under other idols besides God as well – such as money, fame or success – because these things are only temporary crutches that stand in the way of becoming all that God wants us to be if we surrender everything else first (Col 3:5). If we want real change to take place in our lives then we need to look at things differently than before – starting
We Need To Be Empowered By The Holy Spirit
In order to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, we need to stop thinking about God as our source of strength. We have to start seeing Him as our source of power and start looking at what He can do in and through us. Remember, His power is not just for the good times but also for the hard times when we feel like we can’t go on. The presence of God will help us overcome these struggles and hold out hope that everything will turn out alright when it feels like there is nothing left. Serving as a vessel of God instead of relying on temporary crutches in this life will empower believers beyond measure and give them the strength they need to change their circumstances and overcome poverty, hopelessness and more.
We Need To Stop Trying To Change God
We need to stop trying to change God. By putting Him on a pedestal and trying to control Him, we’re actually just making it harder for ourselves to receive the blessings He has for us. Instead of looking for ways to make our lives go better, we need to surrender our lives over again and trust that God has His plan for us (Eph 1:13). It’s not about what you do or what you have in your life but who you are in Christ. To start living life differently, we need to stop comparing ourselves with others and start believing that God can transform us into the people He wants us to be.
We Need To Stop Trying To Shatter Strongholds

Any change in our lives must begin with our hearts. We need to be able to make room for the Holy Spirit in our lives so that He can transform us from the inside out. One of the most common strongholds that believers have is believing in themselves and their own abilities. Every day, we try to do something that we think will bring about change or be a breakthrough for God’s kingdom. But what often happens is that our attempts only serve to reinforce our false confidence and give us an external source of happiness rather than making peace with God at a deeper level of our being. Believers need to understand that being transformed through the power of God means becoming like Jesus Christ – realigning ourselves with His values, allowing Him to take up residence within us and getting rid of anything that contradicts His ways (1 Cor 15:33) The more you surrender your life to God by giving up your idols, the more empowered you will feel.
We Need To Take Steps Towards Our Goals
We need to take steps towards our goals. We need to make the necessary changes in our lives so that we can be all God wants us to be and live a fruitful life for Him. The first step is for us to accept that we cannot do this alone. We need God’s help, and He has already given it freely to us in His Holy Spirit. This doesn’t mean that you should stop what you’re doing or give up your goals, but it does mean that if you want God’s help to change your circumstances, then you must start by using the means He has given us – like prayer, fasting and Bible study. If a believer follows through with these things then they will find out what God’s plan is for their life – if they even want one!
Conclusion
When we are not empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can feel powerless and can try to change God. When we have tried to change God, we can feel like we’ve been left broken and shattered. By taking steps towards our goals, we can move forward to a place where we are empowered by the Holy Spirit and not try to change God.
